The Catalyst V5 is based on the proven V4 planform, and now benefits from the following design developments:
● 10 BRIDLE LINE ATTACHMENT POINTS - now featured on the leading edge of all sizes (previously only on 14 & 16m). The added frame and canopy stability ensures an even, confidence-inspiring feel for inexperienced kiters across a broader range of conditions
● ENHANCED DURABILITY - Dacron reinforcements have been added to the sail sections that experience more abrasion through regular ground contact in the learning phase
● MORE ARC IN THE ROUNDER AIR FRAME delivers slightly faster handling for more progressive rider development and fun

OPEN ARC DESIGN
The lightweight one strut design combined with an open arc shape delivers smooth power with amazing light wind capabilities getting you up riding easily.
WIDE WIND RANGE AND PROGRESSIVE DE-POWER
The wide wind range and progressive de-power makes riding in variable or gusty conditions comfortable, while great upwind performance gives you more time to spend improving your skills!
RE-LAUNCH IS SIMPLE
By turning the bar or using the re-launch balls on the leader lines, the kite will roll over into the re-launch position, even in light wind conditions.
RETRACTING REAR BRIDLE LINE SYSTEM
Introduced on the V4, the Catalyst's retracting rear bridle line system reduces the chance of line tangles. It also adds rear line tension when riding sheeted out, which increases reactivity to bar inputs, improving your sense of control across a broader range of conditions.
RELEASE SYSTEM
Our time proven Front Line Flag Out release system is simple and effective, it is the same system featured on our entire water kite range. When the Click-in Loop is released the kite flags out to one front line, immediately releasing all the power from the kite.
